Palimpsest represents 13 years of work tables and spoil boards from my shop. The substrates contain trace memories for all of the sculptures (successful and otherwise) they witnessed. The accidental patterns became a topography that was fascinating on its own. All of the facets are double sided, so the viewer is invited to examine them from the exterior and interior of the form.
