Contrast and Brightness is an animated mutoscope mechanism inspired by my eagerness to see myself portrayed in the media I consumed as a child (when multi-cultural couples and race issues were relegated to “very special episodes”). The result is a composite TV family fantasy for a boy who, in hindsight, should have been playing outside instead of watching “Good Times” reruns.
